The Great Weaver

VAF, also known as Vidar Anker Filion, moves between experimental electronic music, fine art, performance and occult exploration. The work is concerned with the fool, emptiness, outsiders and Thelema, creating sound worlds where ritual, noise, drone and meditation meet.

The music is intended as a journey through the mind — into the strange, the unknown and the spaces between things.

Nattens Skapningar

Nattens Skapningar / Digitalis Purpurea explores everything and everyone encountered after darkness falls and society changes.

The album consists of COTN 1, COTN 2 and COTN 3. Recorded and mixed at Transgressive House in Oslo, with additional mixing at Atelier Nord, the record was mastered by Lasse Marhaug.

Ritual / Performance / Sound

VAF's live work extends the music into art performances, sound installations, rituals and visual work. The performances create an environment for the alchemical transformation of sound, image and occult symbolism.
